Place Inlet: Place the air inlet into the opening. And using the air inlet as a model, the location of the mounting holes, then drill the mounting holes using a 1/8inch drill bit. Rear Baffle Removal: Remove the rear baffle by removing the 2 screws on the front of the air inlet. Wiring Specifications: Strip 3/4inch of insulation from wire ends and make sure the core is clean. Cut off damaged sections and re strip wires if necessary. Wiring colour coding: 3 Wire: Black: Hot Wire, White: Neutral Wire, Green: Equipment Ground Wire 4 Wire: Black: Hot Wire, Red: Hot Wire, White: Neutral Wire, Green: Equipment Ground Wire Insert wires into terminal holes and tighten terminal screws to 20 in. lbs. of torsion, making sure no insulation remains. Wiring: Route the internal wiring through the box opening. Use at least 10 AWG/3c wire, and do not use finer wires to prevent overheating and possible electrical fires.
